30 by 30: Kid Flicks was an interstitial series that aired on HBO Family that features short films made by kids. It first aired in 1999 as an segment that aired in-between shows and movies on HBO Family.
It would have an half-hour TV series in 2001, which it premiered August 26th of that year, which is the same day when Jam and Magnet were introduced, in which the TV series, as well as the interstitial series, aired on the latter block. This segment ended sometime in 2000, while the TV series end in February 1, 2002.
When the TV show first aired, it got another segment called 30 by 30: Short Spots, an segment that only aired on Wednesdays and Sundays. It also had a page on HBO Family's website (formerly HBO4Kids.com) with tips and tricks about making a movie.
It also had 2 film festivals, both of them called HBO Kid Flicks Online: Film Festival. They happened in 2000 and 2002. It also possibly had another one in 2003 too.

Trivia[]
- Even though it's stated that the TV series premiered in 2001, there's this article from 1998 that mentions the TV show (even before the interstitial series existed), so it's can't be confirmed that premiered in 2001.
- This is the first HBO Family interstitial to have an TV show, as the next (and last) interstitial to have one is El Perro y El Gato.
- The (interstitial) series also have behind-the-scenes episodes, which can be mostly found on YouTube.
