And now you know!

Female narrator.

And Now You Know was an animated interstitial series produced by Kristin Harris Design and aired on HBO Family's preschool block Jam, as well as HBO Latino. It's unknown when it aired but it's presumed that it aired in 2001. 20 segments were produced.

Synopsis[]

A little child asks a question, such as "Where does the wind go?", and the question gets answered by a female narrator, always ending with "And now you know!".

Episodes[]

  1. Tell me what a spider web is made of: Spider webs are made from silk, which starts out as a liquid in their bodies and turns solid once it hits the air.
  2. Tell me how big the earth is: The earth is 25,000 miles around the middle, called the equator.
  3. Tell me where the wind goes: Winds are currents that move around the earth that swoop from the North Pole or from the hot tropics.
  4. Tell me why I don't fall off the earth: Gravity is one magnet that pulls us to the earth and keeps us on the ground.

Trivia[]

  • The title of the show, as well of the line always said at end of each episode, is a reference to NBC's The More You Know campaign and it's promos (or called PSAs).
  • The studio that produced this series, Kristin Harris Design, would later make I Want to Be for HBO Family, which was another interstitial.
  • To possibly confirm that the show aired before 2002, the discontinued HBO Family website, archived in 2002 (via Wayback Machine), showed mention of the show, showing that the show may have first aired on 2001.
