Summary[]
Tyler tries to put on his favorite acorn shirt, but when he does it doesn't fit his whole body anymore. This gives Pinky a story idea about balloony feet. So the trio goes to the Story Box.
It starts when Daffinee shows Pinky an outfit that she will wear for her aunt's musical fashion show. She is wearing a trumpet dress that she can actually play, with a bongo drum on her head. Pinky calls this perfect, but Daffinee says it's not exactly perfect as she still doesn't have the right shoes for her outfit and is worried that her aunt will be so disappointed. Pinky goes to her shoe closet and asks how, and Daffinee notes that she has "balloony feet". Whenever she gets too excited, her feet expand like balloons, so she needs the proper shoes. Tyler interrupts and says that there is no such thing as balloony feet and Pinky reminds him anything can happen in a made-up story. He asks how they will find the right shoes, and Pinky says that they should go on a quest.
Continuing on, Pinky and Daffinee start their quest and go to the Twinkle Toes shoe store, with the help of Jinkins' flying bicycle. There, the worker offers Daffinee ski shoes that fit her feet well. She tries them on in the ski shoe fitting room which is a full-blown ski hill, and she skis down the hill but her shoes fly off her feet and she tumbles into a snow pile. Daffinee states that this quest is not over, and the next area is the Happy House shoe store. The worker at that store gives her a pair of houses and then barns, but her feet don't fully fit in those either. Because Daffinee got her fancy dress from Aunt Schmancy's store, they then head there, although her aunt is out to lunch and another assistant takes her place. Daffinee finds a good pair of shoes but the assistant says it's the last pair and her feet are too big, but then they shrink although they grow again. Daffinee puts them on when her feet are normal size, but her feet grew angain and the shoes ricocheted. Daffinee worries that she won't find the right shoes in time for the fashion show tonight, so she begs Pinky for help.
Pinky thinks big to help her, and suggests they get Aunt Schmancy. Schmancy comes into the shop right at that moment. Daffinee tells her about their quest and because Schmancy really wants her to go, she brings her a pair of shoes that should be just right, and even get shoes for Jinkins and Pinky to be part of the fashion show. The shoes are trombones that play whenever Daffinee's feet grow while she walks on the stage. When the story ends, Pinky suggests that Tyler can go on a quest to find a new favorite shirt.
