Even though it had a short run, the series reran for another decade until 2016, when it stopped airing alongside other interstitials due to Jam's discontinuation.
Synopsis[]
The series features kids telling their stories while their story is animated in various art styles, mostly being surreal.
Episodes[]
- Blunt: A boy tells a story about how his cousin took him to the store during a birthday party, and after he came out, he saw one of his cousins waiting for a blunt. She asks a guy walking by to buy her a pack, which he does. Another cousin also tries it, but the other cousin takes it back. They walk away, leaving the smokers behind and vowing not to tell anyone, and the boy says that later on, one of the cousins ended up in the juvenile delinquent center.
- Church on Time: A girl tells a story about how when she and her grandmother were getting ready for church, her grandmother accidentally dropped her lipstick down the sink. She is convinced the devil doesn't want them to go to church that morning. The girl tries to get it out but gets her hand stuck into the drain, so the grandmother calls the plumber. The plumber unscrews all the pipes to get the lipstick out, even though the girl needed to get her arm out the most. Nevertheless, she gets her arm free, and the two get to church on time.
- Mexican Dog: A boy tells a story about his pet dog in Mexico, Hamblet. He loved Hamblet a lot and he and his sister played ball with him. Unfortunately, when the boy moved to the United States, he couldn't take Hamblet with him, therefore separating the two.
- Mickey's Car Ride: A boy tells a story about how his sister got a driver's license, so now she can take him to all kinds of places. She drives fairly slow and also listens to music that annoys him, but he ignores it anyway. One day while driving on Route 23, a construction truck behind them honks at them, and as people pass her she drives to the side of the road as she got terrified. Nevertheless, the brother is proud of his sister.
- Stinky the Hamster: A girl tells a story about her Albino hamster, Stinky. He was really chunky, and even constantly got stuck in his tubes in his cage. It didn't help matters when before her family left for vacation, she was worried so she fed it a lot. When they got back sometime later, the hamster, seemingly bloated, was stuck in a tube with its eyes closed, ultimately dead. Because she had two other hamsters that probably died, she dug Stinky in her special hamster graveyard.
- Smoking: A boy tells a story about how his friend has a cousin who smokes, and the narrator says how even though you don't see your favorite movie stars unharmed by smoking, smoking can be hazardous to your health. Even his mother smokes, but he doesn't feel comfortable telling his own parent that she's eventually going to die from the effects.
- Amusement Park: A boy tells a story about him and his girlfriend breaking up, which depresses him and he cannot stop thinking about her. His mom tells him that he should go to the amusement park and have some fun to get his mind off the girl. When he goes, all the rides just remind him of her, but he gets on a rollercoaster and started to think less and less of his ex-girlfriend as he rode it. By the end, his sad thoughts have completely gone away.
Trivia[]
- This series wouldn't necessarily air on Jam until its rebrand in 2010.
- In Church on Time, when the lipstick falls down the sink, a voice can be heard saying something profane, but the producer assured that wasn't the case.
